Nice, Relaxed Dine
"We enjoyed the visit to the Quicken Tree and found it to be relaxed and informal with good service and a nice ambiance. We ordered the same 2 starters which was the crispy duck with carrot ribbons, beansprouts and hoi sin sauce. It was very nice with crispy duck in generous portion and overall a good starter, presented very well. We also ordered the t bone steak with chips which was very generous, well priced and the chips were delicious!"
Stunningly Beautiful!
"We found the Quicken Tree a lovely place. The food is outstanding. We had vegetable soup with a few croutons which was beautiful. For the main course we both had t bone steaks served with chips and a baked tomato and mushrooms, cooked as ordered. The overall comment I would say, was a very enjoyable evening with delightful food. Would we go again?...very soon I hope."
Very Relaxed and Welcoming
"Very relaxed and welcoming atmoshere. Modern restaurant with scattered star lights giving a cosy feel but the tables are not too close together. Varied menu which is not run of the mill so making you selection more difficult! My friend and I started with the crispy 5 spiced duck which was a good choice followed by the fillet of beef (very succulent) with wild mushroom fricassee. The hardest selection for us was the desserts - we wanted to try them all! Staff very attentive who do not rush you through the meal. Well worth a visit!"
