Reviews from our customers

Excellent service

The service was excellent as well as the ambience of the restaurant. The menu selection and food presentation was good and we felt it was value for money. It was our first visit to the Quicken Tree, but we would come back again.

Definitely value for money

The service and ambience were excellent along with the menu selection and presentation of the food. We thought it was definitely value for money - we hadn’t been to the Quicken Tree before but we would recommend it to others.

We'd definitely recommend it

We found every aspect of the restaurant excellent. The food, ambience, menu selection and presentation were brilliant. It was our first time dining at the Quicken Tree, but we would definitely recommend it.

First time

We received a gift voucher to come to have dinner at the Quicken Tree, we hadn’t been before, but we thought the service, quality & taste of the food as well as the ambience and service in the restaurant were excellent. We would recommend it to others.

Outstanding!

We have been lucky to eat at the Dorchester Hotel twice and this was so much better! Your chef is a 'beef genius', all courses were returned as totally empty plates. Thank you so much for the excellent service, ambience (very classy but subtle touches) and once again - the food!

Deserve to be packed out every night

This weekend we had six friends come to Nuneaton from London for the weekend. These people are used to dining at some of the best restaurants that London has to offer so I needed a quality venue with food and service to match. Without wishing to insult many of our local eateries my choices were very limited but from experience The Quicken Tree was top of a very small list.

From the moment I enquired about a reservation until we arrived on Saturday night your staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly.

When we arrived we were made very welcome and after a drink were shown to our table. The variety on the menu plus the list of specials was superb and the presentation of the food was only exceeded by the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef who cooked everything to perfection.

My guests were genuinely impressed by the whole experience as was I, so I would like you to pass on our compliments to everybody involved in making our evening such a wonderful experience.

Nice, Relaxed Dine

We enjoyed the visit to the Quicken Tree and found it to be relaxed and informal with good service and a nice ambiance.  We ordered the same 2 starters which was the crispy duck with carrot ribbons, beansprouts and hoi sin sauce.  It was very nice with crispy duck in generous portion and overall a good starter, presented very well.  We also ordered the bone steak with chips which was very generous, well priced and the chips were delicious!

Stunningly Beautiful!

We found the Quicken Tree a lovely place.  The food is outstanding.  We had vegetable soup with a few croutons which was beautiful.  For the main course we both had t bone steaks served with chips and a baked tomato and mushrooms, cooked as ordered.  The overall comment I would say, was a very enjoyable evening with delightful food.  Would we go again?...very soon I hope.

Very Relaxed and Welcoming

Very relaxed and welcoming atmoshere.  Modern restaurant with scattered star lights giving a cosy feel but the tables are not too close together.  Varied menu which is not run of the mill so making you selection more difficult!  My friend and I started with the crispy 5 spiced duck which was a good choice followed by the fillet of beef (very succulent) with wild mushroom fricassee.  The hardest selection for us was the desserts - we wanted to try them all!  Staff very attentive who do not rush you through the meal.  Well worth a visit!
